Can one serendipitous night change the course of two broken lives?

Sean keeps his promises, no matter how painful. Each year on his late brother's birthday, he rides the High Roller observation wheel—just as they had together years before. But this time, a mysterious girl from the library impulsively joins his pod.

Zadie is no stranger to loss and pain. A rare condition dashed her dreams of being an artist. Now she longs for human connection and acts on instinct when she sees Sean alone. What begins as a whimsical deed sparks an undeniable attraction.

Over the course of thirty minutes in the neon glow of Las Vegas, their tragic pasts collide with hope for the future. Will the loneliness that engulfs Sean and Zadie dissipate by the time they reach the ground? Or will the light inside finally guide them home?

“Delightful cozy mystery with an original premise. Ghosts, a special app, New Orleans, a secret society, and an adorable speaking hedgehog named Auguste. Need I say more. An exciting, fun, and gentle cozy mystery with lots of cool paranormal elements. The author creates a fantastic world set in New Orleans, with sleuths, ghosts, and a talking hedgehog! I loved the main character, Paige, and her circle of friends — it's one of the things I love most about cozy mysteries, how the sleuths often form a found family of hilarious and smart people. The elderly ghost grandma is THE BEST.

“This novel was everything that I hoped it would be! There was suspense, hilarity, quirky minor characters, a villainous underground society, and even a bit of a love story mixed in. I was drawn into the novel from page one and finished reading it in two days. If you’re looking for a fun and fast-paced cozy mystery, this is definitely one to read!”
